Together is Better

It pains our hearts to see the families, health systems, schools and businesses that have been affected by COVID-19. We hope for the health and safety of all, and we recognize the need to unite and support one another more than ever before. As our family at Siete says, “Juntos es mejor.”

We are inspired by the people that have bravely faced the uncharted challenges that COVID-19 has presented and various companies that have come together and prioritized aiding others in this unprecedented time. Below are some early examples from our Stripes family:

• To help with daily necessities, Califia, Siete and Levain Bakery are contributing free products to local food banks and shelters, and Erewhon is adjusting hours of operations to give the elderly and immunocompromised exclusive access to its stores from 6am-7am
• For any non-profit organization fighting the COVID-19 outbreak, Monday.com is offering free and complete access to its platform
• For companies in the healthcare, hospitality, travel and entertainment industries hit hardest by COVID-19, Snyk is providing 6 months of application security solutions for free
• For those who are adjusting to working from home, Udemy is providing free tutorials on best practices for working remotely
• Finally, GoFundMe has created a global relief fund to support numerous COVID-19 related fundraisers on the platform.

Our Stripes Scale team has been focused on helping companies ensure employee safety and business continuity in the midst of this crisis. Several topics of concern that have been brought to our attention include remote work, parental support and team culture. We look forward to sharing some of the best practices and lessons learned from across our network in the coming days.
