Jinene provides support in any way possible when it comes to the Stripes team. In her role, she coordinates and maintains the office’s daily operations as well as provides administrative support.
Prior to joining Stripes, Jinene was an Administrative Assistant for Global Cities, a Program of Bloomberg Philanthropies. In her final year of undergrad, she co-coordinated a mentorship program for nearly 300 underrepresented/minority students on her campus at SUNY Buffalo State. At graduate school, she helped facilitate a program catered to minority students in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Jinene is also a Lifetime Girls Scout of Greater New York where she provides mentoring to girls on their final Gold Award projects.
Jinene was born and raised in Queens, NY. In her spare time, you can find her in the corner of a hipster cafe sketching on her iPad. Jinene enjoys spending time at art galleries and museums around NYC, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite place on Earth is the beach… any beach… anywhere and anytime. Jinene is also passionate about building community and being of service to all mankind.
